Though Kachia was the proud member of a herd, she felt no great desire to stay in the herdlands all the time. The fields were glorious, truly: they lived up to their title of 'majestic.'
Sometimes, though, the familiarity was too much, and she found herself wanting.. something else. Different air, she called it, and then she'd kick up her heels and trot away, towards places she either had never been or went infrequently. She tended to stay away from herdlands, claimed or not- a territorial war was something she wanted no part of.
Not all of Imagination was herdland, however-- plenty of unclaimed terra existed, and it's climates varied widely. A huge desert, so large you could loose yourself in it forever. She had never set foot in that place, and few horses ever did, for fear of never returning. Indeed, it's lethality was likely the reason it had never been claimed. There was a cave, too, and a shore bordered by waves of saltwater and sea lions. She often danced across that shore, horn glinting in the rising sun reflecting off the waves.
Today's change of scenery was subtle: a field. Rainbow fields, to be exact, named for the bright stretches of colored light that occasionally dominated the sky after a rainstorm. The sky was bright and clear-- there would be no such rainbow today-- but the place was beautiful nevertheless, and more importantly, it didn't belong to anyone. Any horse could come and go freely here, herd-creature or loner.

Everything was much too familiar. Cloron sometimes wanted to come here, using Anya's body. It bothered the mare, but the Goddess had chosen her over anyone else, so she guessed she should be proud.
Even though she was like the Queen of the Cloron Majestics, she needed a break. Sometimes it was too much stress and she would run away and seclude herself from the world. Draw the clouds over herself and hide.
But it wasn't very becoming of a queen so she should break out of the habit, but in all reality, she really didn't give it thought. The wind was making her mane billow. Her tail streamed proudl;y behind her. She was appalled to realize the color of her coat was similar to the first color in the rainbow.
It always was comforting to her to see that there was unclaimable land where no horse could claim forever. It made her sane. Not everythinf was about power, that was how most horses acted. But she was different, unique. At least that's what her mother had said.

It took Kachia a moment to realize that she wasn't alone, as she had been when she'd first wandered in this direction: a shift in the wind carried the other scent to her, a familiar scent. That was a mare she knew: the red queen of the group she herself belonged to, wandering on this unclaimed earth.
That gave her pause-- why would the queen be wandering? Was she gripped with a sudden urge to see some new land under her feet, or was it some kind of duty that brought her out here? It was true that sometimes you could find new herd members wandering in unclaimed lands, or perhaps there was some business beign conducted between the kingdoms.. these things were not unheard of.
At this very second, Anya did not look busy: she looked alone, and for all that she carried the energy of the gods themselves in her, she looked small and mortal. She looked like any other horse from these wide lands of Imagination, not like the queen that she was.
Which was the way of queens, Kachia supposed. Of course, even in such situations, one would do well to not forget their manners. Thus, Kachia made her slow way over to the queen, her ears perked forward. It would be remiss of her not to say hello to the female horse who led her own herd, even outside of herdlands. "Lady Anya!" Kachia called, as she neared, her head high and wind rippling through her mane, though she waited until there was only a few feet between them to finish her sentance. "What brings you out of Cloron lands this fine morning?"
Perhaps that wasn't for her to know-- but she'd still ask.

Anya stood there letting the sun shine on her. The warmth felt good on her sore back. The wind was shifting and a familiar scent was carried toward her. Kachia scent was warm and comforting. It was odd, but at the same time nice to meet the other mare here.
The red queen shifted and smiled at the approaching mare. She then put on a serious, but wistful face. "Miss Kachia. What a pleaure seeing you." Anya chirped. She tilted her head at the next thing the other mare said. She then remembered. Cloron had wanted to see the valley.
"Cloron had wanted to see rainbows for a reason she wouldn't tell me. But also because I needed some relaxation time." Anya confessed. She then turned around to see a brilliant double rainbow behind herself. The valley looked so peaceful. The mist just barely settling around, the brilliant colors, and lush grass.
"How have you been lately Kachia?" Anya said tilting her head. Most Cloron Majestics were in home, or traveling around. Anya hadn't seen Kachia for a while and was truely curious. The small mare was still smiling as she felt Cloron starting to push into her body. Anya mentally pushed the Goddess away. Cloron took over her eyes for a second then left.
Anya stifled a sigh and looked at the other mare. Anya barely lifted her wings, stretching them. She was tired after the hours of flying. The queen was training in combat trying to put herself in shape. It was hard work but still not impossible.
