Personality: Interested in strangers, curious, somewhat naive, trusting, friendly-ish. Forward. Subtle, manipulative- though you might not think it, to meet her, and it's really only when she has something obviously to gain. Very nice, but has her own agenda. Tends oto be genuine- will really only lie through omission, and doesn't consider that lying. Will not expect being manipulated back. Loyal to Benthic (and ONLY to benthic). Wanderer. Headstrong, rash, tenacious. Capable of the same quick and violent reactions as Benthic, but somewhat more likely to do them-- again, it takes some significant prodding. More likely to be callous. Frequently sarcastic. Wicked smart, great mind for politics- and an interest in it. Fairly ambitious. Absolutely willing to mislead and lie-- though preferably mistates or says things that are almost true, or actually true in a twisted way. Spin-doctor. Will usually go with the option that benefits her as much-- but if she has little or no stakes on her, then she'll do things for other people. Decent friend, if you can handle sarcasm and you don't ask TOO much. Fairly calm, easy-going. Tends to accept others for who they are. PROUD, euphoric. self-assured. Confident. Perfectly aware of her own limits. Thrifty. Really good at people, understand sthem and their motivations.

History: Benthic's little half-sister (same father). Their father got around, having temporarily been leader of his herd. Both Demersa and Benthic were born during the period where he was leading.
Benthic was chased out along with the rest of the heirs at the age of 5, when the leadership changed. Demersa, then a filly of 3, accompanied him, since they had grown up especially close to one another.
Has been wandering since.
